Personal Assessment Two

I am taking the time to meditate on the Scriptures in the lessons.

I am listening to hear what the Lord wants to say to me personally through the Scriptures in the lessons.

I am becoming more aware of the condition of my spirit as a result of what I am learning in this course.

I am becoming more aware of the emotions I am feeling on the level of my spirit, as opposed to the more surface feelings in my soul.

I am becoming more aware of the character traits that define me on the level of my spirit, as opposed to the more surface personality “face” that I put on to meet the world.

I have discovered attitudes, motivations and/or character traits on the level of my spirit that I am not happy about.

I have taken the less-than-godly attitudes, motivations and character traits that I have discovered within myself to the Lord for healing and forgiveness.

I realize that I have been directing my whole heart toward objects other than my Lord.

I realize that I have not been wholehearted toward the Lord in all the ways that He wants me to be.

I have received the Lord’s cleansing and forgiveness for the sins and failures I have become aware of. (This is the only acceptable response! Don’t wallow in your guilt. Repent, receive the power of the Lord to change, and move on.)
