I also have just started, and am also from Melbourne Australia.
I have already been receiving revelation from the journaling and I am so glad Mark and his team have put this course together.
ChrisHi Karen. I have found that although I can choose to speak in tongues whenever I want, there are times when my spirit is activated that the passion swells up from within and the tongues carry that passion of that burden. As I was reading your post, I was thinking of the first time you turn a tap on, a bit of water comes out, then it stops, then some more, but once the flow starts, it’s a beautiful smooth current. The passion inside is like the pressure that pushes the water out, and it’s just a matter of removing the blockages and establishing the pathway.
So Lord, I stand with my sister and ask for supernatural clearing of any obstacles, and the establishment of flow from her spirit through her mouth and the release of this powerful gift.Hi Carol, thanks for your post. It’s wonderful how revelation opens up as we ask the Lord to speak to us about specific passages like this.
I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that I am still on Lesson 3 as I feel it is an important one for me to learn. It seems these days that I spend most of my morning devotional time writing down my dreams and asking the Lord to speak. I have found that I need to remember only one scene, and that is enough to get the conversation going and receive revelation.
Please pray for me that I would learn how to flow with the Holy Spirit in my work as a secondary teacher and coordinator.
How are the rest of you going? Is there anything you would like us to pray for you about?Wow, Carol, that sounds wonderful, and I am inspired to also share my experience.
When I was 22 I was born again, but a year later, the week before I was due to get baptised in water, I responded to an altar call at church. We were singing a song, “ let the Lord have his way in your life here today” and when my pastor laid hands on me, my legs began to shake. Then my whole body shook, and I could feel a bubble of joy rising up from my belly. Then I started to laugh, and I felt joy like I never had before. My brother had died when I was only 2, and I grew up under a cloud of grief. This was lifted off as joy erupted. Then my prayer language came and I came to know God in such a new way. I started praying in tongues every day to build my spirit up.
Now I am 60 and I want to go deeper, and encounter God more.Hi Karena, Carol and Ann. I watched a few of the initial free videos and as I have been a very analytical person, realise this is just what I need.
I did the Prayers that heal the Heart course last year and found it so life giving. I hope we can be an encouragement to each other as we go through the course.
